What is Poutine?

Poutine is the national dish of Canada. I consists of chips, cheese curds and gravy.

Invented in Quebec in the late 1950's - there are many claims as to who was the original creator - but everyone agrees that the mixture of crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds and a rich brown gravy create a comforting food food combination with a universal adoration.
